What is your current leadtime?
Our leadtime’s do vary depending on current workload however they are normally around 8-12 weeks depending on what product you are ordering. Please contact our sales team on 02 5317 8262 for an accurate up-to-date leadtime.
Do you build custom Trays?
We have been developing our Premium Aluminum Tray and Contractor Steel Tray designs for years and believe that they offer the best looking, most practical Tray Design on the market. We do not build custom Trays or Tray designs currently.
Will you sell me a Canopy if I don’t have a Canero Industries Tray?
While we do not customise our Canopy Profile, Width or Height, we are happy to sell you our Lift Off Canopies to be bolted to another Tray Make. Please note our Canopy will likely not match the Headboard Profile and will likely need a “Base” to lift it over a combing-rail/tray-lip if present.
What are your Tray Headboard Heights?
We have three different Headboard Heights to suit different Vehicle Models.
- Standard Vehicles (Hilux, Ranger, DMAX, BT50) 840mmH
- 79 Series Landcruiser: 980mmH
- American Trucks and Chopped 200/300 Series: 940mmH
Do you offer a Raw Aluminum or Mill Finish Aluminum Tray and/or Canopy Option?
No we do not. All our products are Powder-coated in your choice of colour which offers greater levels of personalisation and a more finished off product.
Do you build Trays for any model of vehicle?
We have a set range of vehicle models that we manufacture our Trays for, please see our “Request a Quote” page for this list of vehicle model’s. If you have a recently released vehicle model and cant see it on the “Request a Quote”, please contact our sales team for further information about our plans for new models.
Do you build custom Canopies?
We have a range of Canopies that suit many applications and fit our Ute Trays perfectly. We do not change Canopy Profiles, Widths or Heights, however we are open to changing the lengths for certain applications. Please contact our Sales team to discuss this further.
While we have a range of Canopy Configurations that we find suit most applications, we are also open to customising Canopy Internal Fitouts to suit different needs. Please discuss this further with our Sales team to find out what we can and cannot do.
Do your Trays have a Lip or a Combing Rail?
Our Trays are completely Flat to the edge. This is to make it easier to mount Canopies or Service Boxes, and protects the Tray edge when being loaded with a forklift.
What size are your Headboard’s?
We have several different size Headboards, all designed to fit the proportions and style of different Vehicle Models.
Premium Aluminum Trays:
- Standard Vehicles (Hilux, Ranger, DMAX, BT50): 75mm x 75mm SHS
- 79 Series Landcruiser: 100mm x 100mm SHS
- American Trucks and Chopped 200/300 Series: 100mm x 100mm SHS
Contractor Steel Trays:
- All Contractor Steel Trays are made with a 3inch Mandrel Bent Pipe Headboard
What can I do with my old Tub or Tray?
Once your existing Tub or Tray is removed to have your new Canero Tray fitted, you can either take your Tub home with you or we can send it to be salvaged for you at no extra charge. If you are taking it home, you must provide 3-4 Pallets that the Tub can be placed on top of for safe transportation. The Tub must be taken home on the same day as the new Tray is picked up, we accept no responsibility if the Tub is left behind.
